Welcome to our newsletter!
Welcome to our inaugural quarterly newsletter - learn more about Civico, get up-to-date information on our upcoming projects, meet our newest team members, and more!
We are driven to design and construct high-quality buildings, streetscapes, and neighborhoods that significantly enhance the social livability and environmental sustainability of our communities.
The root of Civico is "civic," or the duty of people to the place they call home. This is central to our approach to development: to facilitate the creation of inviting places for those who call them home.
We strive to incorporate innovative design and civic spirit into our projects of all scales, focused on authenticity, walkability, and human scale development.
Project Updates
Waterfield | Winchester
We are excited to announce that the Land Disposition Agreement (LDA) for this 60-unit mixed-income residential development was approved at Special Town Meeting in June. The proposed development, which is located between the Winchester MBTA station and the Town Common, was awarded to Civico and Traggorth Companies in 2020 through a public Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
West Newton Armory | Newton
The joint development team of Metro West Collaborative Development and Civico was selected to develop 100% affordable housing at the former West Newton Armory. The 43-unit development received a Project Eligibility Letter (PEL) in June. The Council meeting will take place on July 11th followed by a public meeting on July 25th from 4-6PM. Learn more about our vision and stay updated throughout the community process on the website.
Beal Commons | Shrewsbury
We are excited to announce that preliminary plans were approved by Shrewsbury's Board of Selectmen for this 55-unit mixed-use development. Beal Commons is the first development proposed under new Town Center Zoning District regulations. We are thankful to our project partners and look forward to the permitting process this summer.
